Shockwave Therapy is a cutting-edge, non-invasive treatment designed to promote healing and alleviate pain in musculoskeletal conditions. At Foot & Limb Clinic, we utilise the latest technology to deliver targeted care, helping our patients get back to doing what they love, pain-free.

What is Shockwave Therapy?

Shockwave Therapy uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate healing, improve blood flow, and break down scar tissue. This innovative treatment is particularly effective for chronic conditions that have not responded to traditional methods.

Conditions Treated with Shockwave Therapy:

- Plantar fasciitis

- Achilles tendonitis

- Calcific shoulder tendonitis

- Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis)

- Patellar tendonitis (jumper’s knee)

- And moreDivider

How Does Shockwave Therapy Work?

Shockwave Therapy works by directing controlled acoustic waves to the affected area. These waves promote tissue regeneration and pain relief by:

1. Increasing blood flow

2. Stimulating collagen production

3. Breaking down calcifications
